L ii A- ' i As a high school Freshman, you get treated with about as much respect as an ant at a pic- nic. Well, maybe it ' s not quite that bad, but ev- ery time a calamity occurs in the hall, or in the parking lot, or at lunch, the other students — blame it on a Freshman. In fact, it ' s not un- common to hear the other students, especially the Seniors, discussing how much better life would be without Freshmen. They conve- niently like to forget that only four short years before, they too had been so despised. Yes, the life of a Freshman is not an easy one. But it ' s not all bad either. Being a Fresh- man is a new and exciting experience. You are tie tricks you can pull on the next year ' s Fresh- men.

V ' i 4 V ; Sr N U Once you ' re a Sophomore, you ' ve risen slightly in the eyes of the other students. But only slightly. You still get picked on by the Juniors and the Seniors, though not to quite such an extent, and your on consolation is that you ' ve got someone you can pick on now, too. As a Sophomore, you get your first real taste of high • school life. With driver ' s training you don ' t have to always depend on mom and dad for a ride, and you don ' t feel so self-conscious around the upperclassmen. • All in all, being a Sophomore isn ' t too totally bad.” Fact is, it ' s definitely better than being a Freshman! m -• - V
