i v -V A v s - : ' y s V ' Students young and old participated in Spirit Week in preparation for the big game. Spirit Week started with Oops, I Got up Late Day on Monday. Tuesday saw students wearing their favorite college or concert sweats and shirts. Wednesday was Beach and Surfer Day, as people came to school in their shorts and shirts with colors that could blind you. On Thursday, the halls were filled with all sorts of | creatures as Costume and Halloween Day passed. The traditional Blue and White day finally arrived with eager anticipation to the game. This year ' s SENIORS were the winners of the Spirit jug, and the float competition. This year ' s Homecoming Court consisted of I Freshmen Scott Porrett and Tricia Ronan. The Soph- I omore reps, were Mark Lawrence and Stacey McIn- tyre. Representing the Juniors were Bob Holley and Linda Cletcher, Tom Ruedisueli and Colette Dujardin. The Senior candidates were Steve McIn- tyre, Chuck Neubert, and Tom Kean. The Queen candidates were Loretta White, Kristin Manns, and Stephanie Shaieb. The 1986 Homecoming King and Queen were Tom Kean and Loretta White. The Bulldogs lost the game 28-12 in a hard- fought contest against Memphis. Steve Huffman scored all of Yale ' s points with fine running. Brian , Dambacher also played well for Yale. Homecoming came to an end with a very successful dance, in which over 300 people attend- 7
