Act III Stage Manager and Crew The Senior Class Officers this year are Stewart Cole, President; Mary Houle, Treasurer; Kathy Seaton, Secretary ; Mr Richard Little, Advisor; and Mary Maj- ka, Vice-President. Awarded for academic excellence this year are the Se- niors with the highest grade point averages, Valedictorian Walter Parry (below) and Salutatorian, Kathy Seaton (lower left). Both have followed a college prep, course and been active members of their class. Walter was in both the junior and senior plays, a student council member and a band member. Kathy has been a class officer and an officer in the F.H.A.; she was a member of the drama club and the junior play cast and the Pep club; and she represented her class on Homecoming Court this year. Kathy also received the D.A.R. Award. Iff 20

Curtain Cal Mr. Jay Eldred, superintendent of Yale Schools, ad- dresses the capacity crowd at the 1968 Commencement ex- ercises. Graduation exercises began Friday, June 7 with Class Day. Those who won in the mock elections were an- nounced; the class will, prophecy and history were read and lastly, the class gifts were presented. Baccalaureate services were held in the gym Sunday, June 9 with the Rev. Mr. H.L. Matteson, pastor of the United Missionary Church, deliver- ing the message. The Commencement, itself, at which Dr. Lowell Eklund spoke was held June 12. After turning in their caps and gowns, the Seniors got together for the an- nual Senior Party at the Elementary School. 21
