Besides earning a part of the money taken in at the spring concert each year, the Glee Club also has other projects. During the Homecoming season, the Glee Club always enters a float in the Homecoming Day Parade. Sometimes, they win a cash prize for their float. At the annual F.F.A. JllStar Eanl The band participates in a busy summer program. Every week rehearsal is held to prepare for either a concert in the park, or a parade. Last year the band was paid for the fairs and the parades. After the concerts in the park, the band parents sponsored ice cream socials. The parents have held bake sales each month this year, while the band sold candy. All the funds from these affairs will be used to buy new uniforms this summer. As a reward for their summer work, the band takes a trip to Interlochen, a National Music Camp. On February 18,1960, Yale hosted seven bands from Sanilac County for the tenth annual Sanilac County Band Festival. Dr. William D.
