This tremen- dous explosion, which occurred about mid-day, not only blew half of the resident district of the city into the sky but also our promising young chemistry shark, K. Stephen Pilcher. Mr. Pilcher, in coalition with Professor Howland Skil- lin and Mr. Ronald Hull, has been attempting to make n i t r o glycerine ever since his regret- table experience at Yak- ima High.
