Some one has said, the in- stinct of hero worship is so inherent in all of us that the winner can always count on the crowd . For the man who puts up a clean fight and comes out on top a thousand voices are ready with generous accolade. The principle applies, not only in the spectacular achieve- ments but in the humbler pursuits as well. The work of the day laborer in one of our large in- dustrial firms is not less important than that ofa top ranking official, and the person who works alone inacloistered laboratoryis iust as important as the head of some large banking institu- tion. The world needs more of the type whose determination enables him to make a go of the thing he attempts to do. We want you to win. The quitter never wins and the winner never quits.
