LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the senior class of 1957 of Yadkin High School of Boonville, North Carolina, being of sound minds and bodies, realizing the uncertanity of this earthly existance and about to pass out of this, our life at Yadkin High School, do hereby make this our last will and testament. To our faithful Principal Mr. McCallum we leave our deepest appreciation for the guidance and cooperation given us for the four years that we have striven here. .To our Parents who have made it possiblefor us to be here attaining this honor, we bequeath our sincere thanks. To our entire Faculty we leave our sympathy, and hope that with the on coming seniors,you will find a greater peace of mind. To the high school faculty we leave our yearbook The Eagle. To the coming Seniors, we leave our senior privileges hoping that you will make good use of them as we did. To the coming Juniors, we leave our courage, wisdom and intelligence. To the coming Sophomores, we leave our notebooks and pencils as well as our well know nerve. To the coming Freshmen, we leave our patience as well as our good behavior. Marva Jean Carson wills her love for Nathan Allison, and her ability to play basketball to Beatrice Scales, watch out Bea frowning is catching. Carrie Jane Harris wills her hairstyles to Beatrice Scales, and her ability to dance to Thomasene Dobson. Leon Hampton willshis physique to Bobby Smith, and his position on the basketball team to Jimmy Dowell, and hopes he does well. Elva Lula Mae Smith wills her ability to understand Geometry to Thomasene Dobson, and her typing ability to Barbara Brown. Remember Barbara fingers on your home row keys and eyes on your copy. Wilson Glenn Jr. wills his masculinity to Pinky Cooper, it's time to be a man Pinky, and stop acting- James Edward Armstrong willshis Johnny Bull shoes to Walter Tucker, if you let some of that air out of those boats you might be able to get your feet in a pair. He wills his seat on the basketball team to Pomp Matthews, keep it worm Pomp. Laura Jane Hampton wills her neatness to Hallie Porter, and her ability to walk and stand erect to Mozelle Gray. Charlie Alvis Martin wills his dancing ability to Sherman Armstrong, be careful Sherman don't get nervous like Charlie did at the prom. Sadie Elizabeth Parson wills her class ring to Bobby Lee Wilborn, work hard Bobby and earn one of your own. Joe Louis Armstrong wills his ability to steal basketballs to Victor Carson, don't get sticky fingers Victor and steal something besides basketballs. Virginia Alene Dodd wills her ability to sing to Mozella Gray, stop screeching Mozelle and start singing. Ann Theressa Matthews wills her slimness to Lola Cowan, her bowl of beans to Barbara Brown, and her love to Mrs. McCallum's flowers. Nathaniel Allison wills his iiving ability to Pinky Cooper. Virginia Juanita Jarrett wills her shortness to Martha Porter, don't be a long tall Sally, Martha. She wills her small feet to Kay Wilborn, too much feet get in your way Kay. William Clyde Long wills his center position on the basketball team to Royce Davis, with hopes he will do better than he did, and his tallness to Ralph Gamble. Ida Janet Glenn wills her bashfulness to Patricia Spease, take heed Patricia and be as quite also. James Allen Porter wills his bus driving ability to Lola Gray Cowan, and his little Richard hair style to Bea- trice Scales. Last, but not least, we will our sincere thanks and lasting appreciation to Mrs. McCallum, our beloved ad- visor for working so faithfully with us.
