TWO-THREE-FOUR! HUP! TWO-THREE -FOUR! The last football game, the last rolls of the drum could be heard as Xenia Central's marching band went out of Cox Field, up Edison Boulevard, and back to the bandroom. Accounted here is a resume of a most successful season. With careful planning and maneuvering, the band proudly presented their, half-time shows with precision and accuracy. They presented such formations as an anchor, carrying out the theme by playing Harbor Lights , Anchors Aweigh , or a tune which would complete the theme formation. This same band plays during the home basketball seasons, helping the tumbling team along, also. The new music addition is comprised of two departments, the instrumental music de- partment and the vocal music department. After waiting almost a year and a half, we moved in shortly after the second semester. Following a short dedication ceremony, the building was formally and officially entrusted to Mr. Downs and Mr. McNeal, The total building size is approximately 100 feet by 50 feet. There are a total of seven- teen practice rooms, all sound proof. The sound-proofing is made possible by a product known as hush plaster. This plaster never dries completely as its job is to absorb the sound and to hold it within the room. We've waited a long time for a building such as this one, but it was worth all of the time because you can see the results!
