During the course of the year, there was atrip around the county, open to those who were inter- ested in an essay contest on soil and water conservation. There was a very interesting talk by Mr. Stroup at one meeting on conservation of wild life and on deer hunting. At another meeting Mr. Odegard spoke on Soil and Water Conservation in Greene County. Foods and Nutrition was the topic of another program given by Mrs. Miller, Home Economics teacher at Central. Besides being scientific, this club gave a Merry Christmas to several needy families, by means of food baskets. Twenty Nine

A. presented the U. N. Flag to the school, which is now displayed in the second floor middle hall. They planned a party for the F. F. A. boys. In honor of their mothers they have a Mother-Daughter tea, and for their fathers, a Father-Daughter banquet. At the beginning of the year all new members were initiated. A special meeting was held for conferring of degrees. Three members were elected to attend the State Convention of F. H. A. at Ohio State University in Columbus.
