Junior Cen-X girls helped with the Cancer Drive, sold Christmas Cards. and helped Senior Cen-X in the check room at basketball games. A year's subscription to Life was given to the school library. During Re- ligious Week they had charge of arranging an altar on the second floor at Central. Interesting speakers from all fields of work spoke at the meetings. During the course of the year, there was atrip around the county, open to those who were inter- ested in an essay contest on soil and water conservation. There was a very interesting talk by Mr. Stroup at one meeting on conservation of wild life and on deer hunting. At another meeting Mr. Odegard spoke on Soil and Water Conservation in Greene County. Foods and Nutrition was the topic of another program given by Mrs. Miller, Home Economics teacher at Central. Besides being scientific, this club gave a Merry Christmas to several needy families, by means of food baskets. Twenty Nine
