The idea for such a club originated in the Xenia Central Hi-Y Club and was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Xenia. This club has two representatives, one boy and one girl, from each of the four High School classes. There are also representatives from the Hi-Y Club and the Cen-X Clubs. This group, collectively, is known as the Board of Directors. It is their job to make rules for the operation of the club and to punish violators of those rules. Each member of the Board of Directors, except the oiiicers, is chairman of a committee. This includes a committee on programs, activities, committees, supplies, chaperon, publicity, and a business manager. Committees for each week are drawn from the files in alphabetical order. If a person does not work for two consecutive weeks, without a legitimate excuse, he or she is automatically suspended from the club for two weeks. A supervisor is hired by the club to maintain order on club nights. Chaperons are selected from Kiwanis members and their wives or parents of the club members. This club has great possibilities for the future, if interest is maintained. You will hear more from this club. Dear Readers: Tonight is my very last night as a student Bucf tomorrow I shall commence a new life-that of an alumnus. For twelve long years I have looked forward to receiving that keepsake known as a diploma, but before I do, I would like to pen a few candid opinions. I would like to thank all the sponsors, teachers, and students who have made this annual a memory of 1943-44. During my four years at Central, I have had lots of fun and have learned plenty, too. To the Little Buc of 1945, I wish lots of luck,' and to the Bucs to follow, a bit of advice. Start now to learn all you can, participate in activities, and do your best in all of your endeavors. Some day you, too, shall be an alumnus. That's all now so I had better shuffle off to the field house. -Little Buc. P. S.-Hope I don't trip on my robe when I am walk- ing down the aisle.
