LEADERSHIP The determination for this hard work was infused into the team by their new coach Mr. John Woods. In his rookie year as a Varsity coach Mr. Woods realized the trust placed in him by the Athletic Department. Mr. Woods put into effect his ex- perience acquired as last year's J.V. coach. We hope that his future leadership as coach will be an inspiration to the up-coming Varsity teams and that he may have many more seasons as success- ful as this one. APPRENTICESHIP Experience exhibited by seasoned senior Clippers coupled with the ambition of the up-coming iuniors led our Varsity Clippers to the most suc- cessful season thus far. The culmination of the season was the play-off game against an undefeat- ed Power Memorial team at Fordham University. This game typified the team's continual spirit of driving determination and also dispelled any doubt about the ability of our Clippers, who provided Power with its toughest opponent this year.
