Senior Officers TIMOTHY P. BYRN ES Treasurer Tim was invaluable as SAC's treasurer, and was deservedly popular at Xaverian. In his official capacity, Tim ran a highly successful raffle drive and established a precedent with SAC's weekly financial report. He fought hard for his class as its president for three years and as an intramural leader for four. ln addition, he played a snappy second base for our Varsity baseball team in his Sophomore and Junior years. IIO ROBERT K. FLEMING Vice-President As an underclass trackman, sodalist, and class officer, Bob built a firm roundwork for his leader 9 . ship in the Senior year. A captain of the track team in his Senior year, Bob was truly outstanding in middle distance running. He displayed his skill by setting three school records which, in the fore- seen future, seem unlikely to be broken. As a result of this outstanding running ability, he won a scholarship to Fordham University. Distinguished though he was for school servce, Bob will be best remembered as a gentleman who was always con- siderate of his fellow students. ROBERT M. MARINO President Always ready to help when help was need- ed, Bob proved to be a popular man among his classmates for his four years at Xaverian. As an upper classman, he was an executive of SAC, an influential figure on the dance committee and the Junior and Senior prom committees, and a school cheerleader. However, Bob is best known as a track man who won more than forty medals. His service, combined with a knack for leadership, made Bob a natural choice for school president, and his record as president fully iustified our confidence in him. PETER A. REDPATH Secretary Pete was liked and admired by all who knew him at Xaverian. Although a hard work- er a't the books, he is able to claim in addition, fouruyear loyalty to our track team and to the Sodality. As the secretary of the student activi- ties council and member of its dance commit- tee Pete has shown the sense of self-confidence and duty which will prove essential in the mili- tary career which he intends to pursue.
