FINE AND PRACTICAL ARTQ DEVELOP TALENTQ In the music department, Mr. Deacon demonstrates a variety of composition through the marching and concert band, and Mr. Cattell creates the musical flow of the chorus. Both men share the responsibility of teaching the theory and composition of music to the advanced music class. The Home Economics and Industrial Arts Department, managed by Mrs. Wealand and Mr. Stephens respectively, provide skills which may be utilized in daily life or can be expanded into a satisfying career. Mr. Rausch teaches the mandatory course of driver edu- cation to sophomores. He also goes out in the school car for on-the-road-experience with students. The Fine Arts Department, Mrs. Ritter's domain, offers a four year course for the serious art major, along with an arts and crafts course taken twice a week for the dabbler. 3O
