Page Six The old studio has become too cramped and obsolete for the size and abilities of our cast, and so, to take care of the increasing population of our film community, a new studio is being created, a new studio which overshadows the old one in size and educational possibility. The science department will have many new and convenient contrivances, among which a dark room is foremost, the art de- partment will include a stage and workrooms to be used solely by this department, the library will be twice the size of the present one, and the auditorium will allow for the seating of one hundred more per- sons than that of the old studio. The home economics and manual arts department will be much more elaborate and applicable. With these facts, which are almost insignificant, compared to the total number of wonders of the new edifice, in mind, we, who are about to leave, deeply regret that we will be unable to enjoy the privilege of partalcing of the benefits that so beautiful and complete an institution will have to offer to the one coming actors and actresses.

The Senior Class of 1939 has produced, in its twelve years of school life, many reels ht experi- ence, knowledge, work and fun---all of lhich was accomplished under the constant gu'dance ot teachers and principals. Prohably the rriost mem- orable incidents ot our erxtire school lite, as we look back upon them noyv, were our exltrance as Freshmen into Senior High and our actual partici- pation in Senior High Schlool activities. l l Similarly the stars oi the three billion ldollar in- dustry, the movies, have completed their reels under the guidance ot their superiors, the direc- tors and producers. They too, probalply, have memories of their preparation for stardorn as star- lets, juvenile leads or extras. l l l And so, with this similarity of school and movie achievements in mind, we have compared our school career to motion pitture productihn.
