20 Class Night '79 was held June 7, l979 at Convention Hall in Pittston Township from 6:00 to l2:00. This year's theme was 'Freebird'. A family style dinner was served which consisted of pork chops, roast beef, manacotti corn potatoes ice cream and cookies. The Class Will and Prophecy was read by Jerry Kellar. Rob Mattern read the results of the Class Poll. A special recap of the 1978-79 school year was read by Mary McEvoy. Af- terwards music was provided by Abilene. tttt gig! .ma Si' GOOD BYE Joann Yenalevltch The tenseness grows Its almost time The moment will soon be upon us When we flip our tassels We listen to our leaders Talking about past present future Mostly future We apply their words to ourselves And think how exciting it will be To venture into the world on our own. But then we come back to reality And realize how frightening it all really is. The moment arrives We slowly walk to receive our diplomas. We are proud. When all is completed our hats are in the air. We are thrilled. But then, it's time to say goodbye. Goodbye to school, Goodbye to friends All we have left are memories. Memories to be kept and cherished.

A hot buffet style dinner was served and dancing was provided by On The Rocks . The boys looked handsome and the girls looked beautiful.
