In.the shop Mr. Courter stresses the careful use of ma- chmery. A student demonstrates his skill in reading blueprints. Industrial Arts and Home Management Some of us find math of very practical and immediate use in the industrial arts classes, which include shop, mechanical drawing, and blueprinting. Here we are trained in practical courses to work in systematic labor. We master com- plex and intricate machines under the careful supervision of Mr. Courter and Mr. Thompson. YVe learn the fundamentals of many handicrafts and manual skills, and in the more advanced stages of our training we are able to make beautiful pieces of furniture.
