Among the many projects and services rendered to the school hy the cluh was the repairing of bleachers and the decorations of goal posts at the home foot- hall games. The group also sponsored .1 soft drink and paddlepop stand at the annual community rounds up. The HifY participated in many activities, including parties at the Y.M.CA., a trip to the Hi-Y cottage at Newaygo, and many Hi-Y conferences. Wlien Eugene Morgan, president of the club, left for service with the Army Air Forces, Eugene Donel- son, vice-president, took over the supervision of the Hi-Y and proved to he as ahle .1 leader as his pre- decessor.
