Shrrcword This is really the beginning of the end for the seniors. Putting out this 1959 yearbook has been a real source of pleasure. It has made the year more enjoyable to each of us. We all hope that you enjoy this as much as we have enjoyed making it for you to look at now and in the years to come. May we express our gratitude to the faculty for their splendid cooperation throughout the year in helping us, to Mrs. R.M. Parsley for her help in getting snapshots and activity pictures, and to Mark Hamilton, a seventh grader, for his help last year and this year in making grade school and band snapshots . One thing every American youth can be eter- nally grateful for is the land of freedom into which he is born. It is a marvelous thought worth singing about--and it is this thought that is the theme of The Growl of 1959. -P Best Wishes, 5 Q Nancie Parker Editor Assistant Editor Business Manager Johnny Pierce Patsy Blackburn 1 i Qr
