Class History On September 6, 1954, the present Senior Class entered Wylie High School. It was a large class of about fifty pupils. That year was s pent in getting used to high school life and customs. The sophomore year saw many students becoming more active in organizations and sports. By the Lnior year ever yone was in the full swing of things and enjoying school life very much. One of the lgh-lights of that year was the annual junior-senior banquet. It was held in the gym, which was dec- rated to resemble a night club, as the theme was The Stork Club. The thrill of orde ring senior .ngs was another impor tant event of the junior year, almost as nice as actually receiving them the ,llowing fall. The most important year arrived at last, and the new seniors felt very important and ary Smug towards the inexperienced freshmen. Every student had some duties which kept them very isy, but thoroughly engrossed. Many periods were spent planning the school annual, the school paper, e senior trip, and graduation. Class colors were pic ke d--pink and silver--and the class flower-- e Carnation. All in all, high school life has been a wonderful thing, and we hope future classes have I much fun and get as much out of it.
