Jim Patterson was the only actual regular back from last SBSSOII, Wyanet got off to a slow start losing to McNabb Bradford and LaMoiJle m our first three games before beatmg LaFayette and Ohio After losing the Buda game, the varsity won from Bureau Township and Oh1o again During the holidays the Eagles traveled to the Mount Carrol Tournament where they won from Lanark and lost to Stockton After Christmas vacanon the team lost by a small margin to McNabb and Manltus Neponset was then knocked off by us before we lost to Buda and Tislulwa In the Lrttle 8 Tournamalt Wyanet played an exciting game before fallmg to Manlius in the1r first game. Started serving our term. Prison athletes started football practice. Wardens let us off for labor day. Had a magic show at assembly. Many prisoners tried to learn how to escape. We bumped off Neponset in our first football game 39-O. Got beat by the LaMoille reformatory, 21-13. Pictures taken for prison files. Beat the Ohio Bulldogs. Homecoming-We welcome visit of ex-cons, Bureau Township Reformatory. Homecoming king and queen George Conley and Margie Smith were crowned at our victorious Homecoming dance. Manlius game- WE WON'T NIENTION THE RESULTS. Lost again. Buda Prison athletes beat Tiskilwa, 18-7. The F. H. A. prisoners prepared achiledinner for the prisoners and wardens. Sheffield game- -Victory--19-13. Malden game. We won. 26-6. The Juniors cell block puts on play. Prisoners travel to Magnolia Swaney where they had their first basketball game. The jail birds broke out for Thanksgiving. Dec. 21 Basketball season in full swing. Prisoners exchange knives and guns and put on a X-mas program. Paroled for Christmas vacation. Broke our parole, back again. The prisoners dressed up in their best striped suits and attended the Snow Prom. Had a hard timedistinguishing thedifference between the prisoners and donkeys at the Donkey Basketball Game. Little 8 Basketball tournament. District Basketball tournament. Prisoners got together and played their Eddles at the District Music Contest. The Senior prisoners gave Senior Class Play. Prisoners dressed up in bunny costumes and madea break for Easter Vacation. Prisoners entertained by harpists. Senior prisoners have Baccalaureate. Happy Day. Senior cell block graduate from the jail house.
