The mood of Social Hall. . .is quiet. . .The stillness of Social Hall is the only place where one can be alone but never feel lonely. It is the perfect place for reflecting upon the events of the day gone by or for speculating on the events of the day about to begin. Social Hall provides the quiet needed for last minute study or for long peaceful daydreams. The spell, however, is periodically broken by a ringing class bell and a sudden surge of noisy students. The mood of Social Hall. . .is alive. . .The before school buzz- ing and chattering of students, the ticket lines for games and plays and the congregating groups of friends making plans, bring Social Hall to life. The mood ofSocial Hall. . .is pride. . .A pride is felt in the team returning to school defeated, but inspired by defeat to return next week as the victors. A feeling of overwhelming pride is felt also when looking into the crowded trophy cases of Social Hall, where Kay Cee posters hanging on the walls look down upon the students and proudly proclaim Wyan dotte as Number One.' The mood of Social Hall. . .is tradition. . .Social Hall is a haven of Wyandotte traditions, old and new. Many of the traditions are as old as the dusty beams in the ceiling, but many new tradi- tions also abound in Social Hall. The many moods of Social Hall. . . remembered and treasured always.

SUMMER Summer days sped past much too fast to allow most students to fulfill all of their vacation plans. Travelling, picnicking, swimming or just loafing were some of the summer activities enjoyed by Wyandotte's students. Wow, we rode the Zambini Zinger seven times in a rowl. . . Let's spend they whole afternoon at the pool today. . .My nose is so sunburned. . .Baseball is my favorite summer sportl. . . How do you like my new motor- cycle?. . .Get a summer job? Are you crazy?
