SOCIAL HALL Social hall revealed by feelings of mood as Big Red students could be by themselves, yet never feel lonely. . .It's sometimes so quiet I can read a book. . .It sets me in a mood to write a song. . .The trophy case highlights Social hall as it holds the many proud pieces of gold and silver won by present and former students. . .It makes me proud to know I 've done something good for the school. . . Social hall is usually filled, both before and after school, with groups 'of students talking about upcoming events or social activities. . .Is anyone trying out for the play?. . .Ifyou need a ride to the swim meet, be in Social hall at 2:45. . .A new tradition became part of Social hall and Wyandotte this year, Spirit Week. . .Hey you guys, Iet's head down to the malt shop. . .Dress in grubby clothes? I do everyday!!! I wonder who'lI win the faculty legs contest. . . A warm atmosphere touches Social hall during the Christmas holi- days. . .I always thought those were real presents under the tree. . .Social hall, a place where students could go anytime of the day, a place where play tickets could be bought, where students could cover its walls with signs on game days but most of all, .where students could come and be together. . .Social hall, the first place I went as a sophomore, and the last place I left and missed as a senior. 26
