Annual Assembly Held To Introduce Activities lntroducing sophomores to Big Red, giving girls a chance to ask their favorite guys to a formal and giving everyone a chance to sign yearbooks were only a few of the activities sponsored by the Girls' League. Known as the largest high school organiza- tion in Kansas, the League, under the direction of Mrs. Nancy Allen, included all Wyandotte girls. At the Girls, League Assembly, sophomores were introduced to and given the requirements of all the clubs they were invited tojoin. ln April the Mother- Daughter Banquet was held. New officers, elected at an assembly in the spring, were installed at the ban- quet. Sophomores served upperclassmen and their mothers. Completing the year was the Quiverian Catch-Up, at which everyone signed yearbooks.
