Art Club by Rosalyn Ruff 2 BACK ROW: Left to Right, Jeanette Forsberg, Gary Shikles, Pat Smith, Virginia Richardson, Caroline Macias, Velma Burns, Pamela Smith, Jo Beth Cramer, Janet Haworth, Shirley McCann, Paula Davis, Gayle Cowgill. SECOND ROW: Miss Eileen Hughes, Kay Phalp, Susan Seymour, Janice Tinsley, Sonja Blecha. Monthly guest speakers acquaint Art Club members with various phases and techniques of art. Club activities included making displays for social hall, decorating for school banquets and dances, entertaining junior high art students and having an annual Drama-Art Club Christmas Party. The Art Club also takes part in presenting honors to art students who have given time and service to the school. Under the sponsorship of Miss Eileen Hughes Beverly Meyers, Jo Lee, Karen Perkins, Chris Hanson,Barbara Morgan, Miss Lois Ragsdale. The Pallettes are a branch of the Art Club. Their purpose is to provide an opportunity for members to sketch different and interesting sub- jects for art class.
