Girls' League activities began this year with an assembly and orientation for all sophomore girls. On October 17, the annual Sac-nic was held at Loose Park. The twelfth annual girl-ask-boy Christmas Formal, Santa's Snow-Ball, was held on December 11 at the National Guard Armory. Other activities included mixers, more assemblies, election of officers, and the traditional Mother-Daughter Ban- quet. The Girls' League is under the direction of Miss Helen Barnett, who is assisted by Miss Eileen Hughes, Miss Maurine Thomas, Miss Golda Cosner, Miss Peggy Epps, and Miss Sally Davis.
