W Gymnasium Q pating future needs, and it has been said by those who have the right to say, that this marvelous school building could probably not be reproduced even if the need existed. It Would be almost impossible to assemble enough craftsmen with the old and honored skills to duplicate what We now have. Beautifully landscaped, the grounds and build- ings are stately and magnificent with each season, and truly, our community can point with pride to Wyandotte High School as the cultural asset of greatest stature for many a mile around. it is our very good fortune .... There are some things made by the hand of man that seem to be the exceptional . . . in con- cept, execution and function. Perhaps such things are the product of an unusual stimuli of unusual people, butgvery often there is more. A need, toward which is directed . . .- talent, ability and intellectual integrity, -together with determination' to attain a goal and pride in achievement. Our own Wyandotte High School is certainly one of the unique achievements of this region. There are not many High Schools that can compare with it. There are perhaps some that are larger . . . not many . . . but, it would be very difficult to find one that is an equal. Built in a time when great skills and talent Were very readily available, moreover, diligent and eager . . . our school reflects a true greatness and integrity that belonged to the hands of those vvho fashioned it. And, there must have been a genume pride at the finish. A visitor can see at once that here is a great Work. Great because of the fine materials that Went into it, the outstanding t al e n t s of designers and craftsmen that moulded it into its present form.
