Not only does each student receive the training necessary to become a good secretary, but she is also given good advice on how to improve her grooming habits and personality. This club meets once a month, and a social meet- ing takes place every other month. One of the nicest of these social events was the annual Christmas Party, held at the Westhaven Restaurant. The mem- bers sold wrapping paper during the Christmas Season in order to pay for the National Business Ann Smith, Janet Carol Russell, Doris Meade, Gloria Day, Sharon Korte, Gloria Mikesick, Joyce Hill- Entrance Tests which were given this spring and gardner, Delores Filer, Barbara Baird, Janet Sue Rus- , the scholarship that was awarded to the Secretary of the Year. The Future Teachers of America is an organization for any boy or girl interested in teaching as a profession. The purpose of the club is to inform them of the good qualities of a teacher and also, the requirements for teaching. Dur- ing the year at their regular meetings they heard speakers on various phases of teaching.
