Meet- ing monthly, the members exchange opinions and try to gain a better understanding of a previously selected reading. Y-Teen is one of the biggest organizations here at Wyandotte with a membership of 155 girls. This year some of the members, called the Candy Stripers, have of- fered their services to the hospital, pushing carts with magazines to give to the patients. Another of their many services is the presentation of Lenten services in Recital Hall for the four days before our Easter vacation. Officers for the year are: Gloria Barnes, president, Verna Davis, vice-president, Carolyn Birge, secretary, and Zelma Cross, treasurer. The International Relations Club, sponsored by Miss Mc- Canles, is dedicated to the fostering of a good relationship be- tween the world's different countries. This club has con- tributed to the Care organization, and has also become a mem- ber of UNESCO. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, where they learn the different and unusual cus- toms of other countries in the world. Among their additional social events this year were meetings in which foreign students from this area talked of their home lands, and the annual Christmas party. The C Q Club is an organization that tries to cultivate the interest of Wyandotte boys in amateur radio. Club meetings are held the third Friday in each month. Various topics on radio are discussed and explained. A trip to an F M Station was taken in February. President this year is Jim Hundley, secretary is Karl Desch, and the sponsor is Mr. Aldridge. Twenty members have been taking part in the activities of the club this year.
