Their objective is to have fun, develop their personalities, and give services. This year the club did some service work for the University of Kansas Medical Center. They also spent a week end at a six-state conference of the Horizon amblit, Carol Malott, Pat Morris, Norma Barnhill, Carol Locke, Carol Ott, Chery Cain, yn ia Club at Camp Tawanyak. Leading the club this year are Carol Ott, president, Norma Barnhill, vice-presidentg Carolyn Pickel, secretary, and Carol Locke, treasurer. The sponsors are Miss Reba Smither, Miss Joan Hardman, Miss Iona Mettlin, and Miss Mildred Norman. Girls with a special interest in sports make up the Girls' W Club. Through the year, points are awarded for participation in sports activities. 600 points entitle a girl to a small W , and girls with one thousand points receive a large W , Each year four gold pins are awarded to four senior girls earning I if more than 1400 points during their senior year. Parties are also included in the year's activities along with sports. The head ushers who rotate this position this year are: Walter Ott, Nancy Hill, Doris Brake, and Bernard McDonald. The assistants are T. W. Barrel, Sharon Tucker, and Maree Jo Thomas.
