Girls with a special interest in sports make up the Girls' W Club. Through the year, points are awarded for participation in sports activities. 600 points entitle a girl to a small W , and girls with one thousand points receive a large W , Each year four gold pins are awarded to four senior girls earning I if more than 1400 points during their senior year. Parties are also included in the year's activities along with sports. Under the able supervision of Mr. Paul Starbuck the club carries out its purpose, which is to raise money for an athletes' insurance program. After school,G.A.A. sponsors many sports including softball, volleyball, basketball, etc. Each girl earns points whenever she participates in any of the activities.
