The Microscope Club, sponsored by Mr. Hahn, is composed of students wishing to gain further knowledge in the field of Biological Science. At the regular meetings the members practice these skills with swords and the other necessary equipment needed for fencing. The captain of this club, organized by Mr. Hahn, is Wayne Preston, and the Co-Captain is Bill Wing. Page 29

The purpose of the Chemistry Club is to present a glimpse of chemistry as a career to the students who have a special interest in this field. Bringing in chemists and chemical engineers to give talks, and by visiting local industries, where the members can see chemists at work, the purpose is fulfilled. The club meets once a month under the sponsorship of Mr. Quiring. The officers for the year were president, Russell Chambers, secretary, Janice Street, treasurer, Jerry Burge. . Q CAL The C. Q. club, an amateur radio club, has returned to Wyandotte this year under the sponsorship of Mr. Eckhoff. The plan and hope of the C. Q. club is to have o radio station on the air. Meeting twice a month, the club is building the necessary equipment for the station. by Eugenia Mangelsdorf The club took several trips to observe radio and television working for industry, com- munications, hospitals, etc. The officers for this year are president, John Lanaman, vice-president, Alan Parks, secretary-treasurer, Georgia Magenheimer. Every second Thursday of every month was the date set for the meeting. . . k Several speakers gave talks about positions in the field of art. One of these spea ers was Beverly Carden, a graduate of Wyandotte. Highlights of the year were the, initiation of new members in the fall and the Mad Hatters Ball. The officers are president, Brenda Brown, vice-president, Marilyn Ruffg treasurer, Norma Kelly, secretary, Kay Johnsong and historian, Richard Burres. Miss Hughes and Mrs. Turner were the sponsors.
