The purpose of the club is to acquaint the members with each other and learn more about general library work. A Christmas party was held. The officers are J. B. The Spanish Club is for students who have taken or are taking Spanish. The purpose of the club is to acquaint members with more Spanish customs. Among the activities are the monthly meetings, the annual Christmas party with the traditional breaking of the pinatas, the trip to the Tampico for a Spanish movie, and the line party to a Spanish restaurant. Included in this year's activities is the joint meeting of F. H. A., Classical, French, German, Latin, and Spanish clubs of Wyandotte High School. The club sponsor is Miss Judith Stapleton. Rendering outstanding services and exercising Christian leadership in the school and community is the purpose of the Hi-Y Club. This year the boys went to a district conference at Shawnee Mission and attended a State Model Legislature in Topeka. The club held their sixteenth annual Hi-Y Talent Show with President Bill Gillett acting as master of ceremonies. Clyde Hartford, the veteran Hi-Y counselor of Kansas and Camp Wood fame, held personal interviews with the boys. Officers are: president, Bill Gillettg vice-president, Richard Conkling secretary, James Henreg and treasurer, Art Lasher. Sponsors are Mr. Plummer, Mr. Stubblefield, and Mr. Divelbiss.
