G. A. A. is the Girls' Athletic Association and is open to any girl in Wyandotte interested in getting acquainted, having lots of fun, developing her athletic ability and earning a school letter. Earning the school letter will make her a member of the Girls' HW Club. Every year the G. A. A. sponsors homeroom, and G. A. A. softball, volleyball, and basketball tourn- aments. This club also sponsors bowling and volleyball tournaments for both boys and girls. During the year this club has a basketball officiating class, after-school swimming, and a sports day for all high schools of Kansas City, Kansas. The Girls' Athletic Association sponsors are Helen Barnett, Ardis Hill, and Florence Young.
