The first year students are lowly plebicans and the second year members are the upper-class patricians in the club. The purpose ofthe Classical Club is to understand and in- crease students' knowledge of Roman culture and its influence on our lives today. Among the many activities were a Christmas party and a Roman banquet which was held early in March. One of the club proiects was to see the film Quo Vadis, a film of Roman history at the time of the tyrant, Nero. Miss Mettlen is the sponsor.
