These members are kept busy selling tickets, collecting money, and serving on committees throughout the entire year. Each year something new is brought to Wyandotte through their work. This year many students enjoyed dancing during the last ten minutes of their lunch eriods on Wednesdays. The Student Council arranged and sponsored this activity which was dbne in the hall between the two cafeterias. Besides finding new ways of improvingand helping Wyandotte and her students, the Student Council sponsored all of its annual activities. High in popularity were the mixers, which were held in the girls and boys gym, after football and basketball games. Various orchestras supplied the music. Collaborating with the Kay Cees, it also sponsored the Home-coming Dance. Not only does the Student Council provide entertainment for Wyandotte students, but it gives aid to less fortunate children by collecting money for food for the Orphan 's Home and money for the Junior Red Cross. Much praise for her helpful work goes to the Council sponsor, Miss Stapleton, who had an active part in all that was carried on in the l95l-52 Student Council. I., L, N.
