Forward We the members of the 1978-1979 Vallian staff wish to present to you your annual yearbook publication. This year has been a year of much improvement and change throughout our school. We would like to welcome Mr. Robert Jenkins who became our new Assistant Principal in January, 1979, replacing Mr. Warner Stark who is currently on a sabbatical for one year. We hope Mr. Jenkins enjoys his year and has many fond memories of his days with us when he leaves. In the area of sports we achieved only moderate success throughout the year, but we would like to thank all the individuals who participated and sincerely hope they reached their own personal goals. Overall, it has been an extremely fun year filled with new experiences as well as activities. This book is the compilation of all of these things. It is the result of many hours of hard work, disagreement, and effort. We, the Vallian staff, would like to thank all those who made this book possible.
