Editor-in-Chief..............RACHEL SHELDON Co-Editors...................KENNETH THOMAS DOUGLAS FISK TOMMY CHAMPLUVIER yearbook Staff I wish to compliment the class of 1957 for producing an exceptional yearbook. I also wish to compliment you on the choice of a class motto, The Harder the Road; the more Glorious the Success. Your predecessors, the class of 1956, started down a new highway in rural education and you have picked up the wand and carried it down the road in a glorious manner. Let us always hope that those who shall follow you along this road will be better in all ways because of you. Max P. Gannon, Supervising Principal You are about to leave the classroom after having recorded on the pages of this book your teachers, your fellow students, and some of the activities in which you have participated. Use this book to spend happy hours in remembrance, then leave the world of the past and face the future. It is necessary to glance backward to maintain direction, but it will be necessary for you to face the future in order to conquer it. There is a third direction in which you should concentrate attention, UP. Let this be your rule: Face the future; occasionally glance back, but always look up.
