The purpose of this organization is a better under- standing of the German way of life - culture, people, their history, past and present. It is patterned after the traditions of the German Order of Knights After a yearlof German, stu- dents make costumes in Med- ieval style, colorful shields, and swords to add to their knightly appearance.

Ken Merz, Gary Brovsm, and Jim Wells were the three boys that went to Kansas City last winter, representing the FFA of Wy'east. The boys of FFA and the men of the faculty had a fun packed evening riding donkeys at the Donkey Basketball Game. Lincoln Shadly entered his speech in the Soil Conservation Public Speaking Contest this year, winning first place at county and district, and placing second in state semi-finals.
