Vice -President Sam Sundsten , .gg ,, t xXx WE President Bob Kemper Treasurer Boys League John Nunamaker Secretary Jim Laraway Each month the Boys' League meets to discuss the events of the coming month. Among the monthly programs was an outstanding film, High School Drop Outs. After the movie the boys discussed this problem with a member of the Employment Office. Each year the Boys' League presents a scholarship to AdViS01' some boy who qualifies for this honor. Last year this Mr- Bowe award was given to Mike Mauer, who entered Lewis and Clark College. As a money-making project the boys sold apples to finance the scholarship. The Boys' League lent their assistance to their frailer counterpart, the Girls' League by setting up tables and chairs for the Big and Little Sisters' Banquet. As a service to the school, the organization installed the the Marquee which the student body had purchased the previous year from their calendar drive. Q

Girls' League President Judi Goe V106 President Margaret Wright Secretary Judy Shibahara The Girls' League has been busy this year planning and carrying out many activities In September the senior girls chose freshmen for little sisters During the Christmas month the Girls' League held their Big and Little Sister an- quet and carried out a vigorous campaign to collect mis- cellaneous items for the girls at Hillcrest In January they presented the annual Sweetheart's Ball and in the spring the Girls' League entertained their mothers at the traditional tea. Each month the organization chooses an outstanding girl to honor as Girl of the Month. This choice is based upon scholastic achievement, personality and participation in school activities. A scholarship was presented by the organization to a Senior girl for further education.
