BOW THREE: Mr. Blankenship, advisor, Jack Donaldson, Eugene Boles, David Kollas, Jim Willey. SHI CLUB Mr. Blankenship Skiers from Wy'east organized this year into an active Club primarily interested in bettering their skiing techniques. Officers for the year were Mary Jo Smullin, President, Maureen Higgins, Vice Presi- dent, Anne Carr, Secretary, Gayle Bonebrake, Treasurer, and Mr. Blankenship, Advisor.- The first meetings primarily consisted of movies about skiing to arouse the interest in the members. Then work shops were held to get the skiiers equipment ready. When the snow finally arrived competitive slalom races were held at Jump Hill. Members of the club traveled to the south slopes of the mountain to enjoy greater skiing facilities and three members were placed on the racing team of Hood Biver County to race at Hoodoo. Money making project for the year was the handling of concessions at Jump Hill in co- operation with the Hood River Ski Club.
