Homecoming Dance Queen Cindy Williams is crowned as her court looks on. The Homecoming Royalty included Senior Princess Melinda Honore, junior Princess Wendy Bryce, Sophomore Princess Cathy Kelly, and Freshman Princess Cheri Williams. Come Together was the theme of the Homecoming Dance held at the Wurzburg NCO Club. With music by The Hopscotch, the dance provided a celebration for our Homecoming victory over Zweibriicken and a memorable evening for all who attended. Ido!

Cross Country 1974 was a disappointing year for the Wolves' Cross Country Team. Despite much hard work and some very good individual perfor- l mances, our generally young and li inexperienced team was unable to run to victory. This was the first year for Varsity Women's Cross Country and despite a slow start due to low tur- nout, a good foundation was laid for later years. Our first meet was at home with Augsburg winning 17-40. Our se- cond meet, the last at home, was against Berlin, who wonl27-31. A winning performance was turned in by Alan Mauney with jim Roach second. . ROW 'l: Coach Rees, Claude Spiese, David Closser, Dee Palmer, Dottie Pernell, Marina Myers. ROW 2: Roger Hebert, Alan Mauney, lim Roach Bill McConnell, Bob Roach, jim MacFarlane, B. 1. Seay. t . E , , t tl The Cross Country Team is introduced at a Pep Rally. The following week we traveled to Baumholder on a miserably cold, wet day. Baumholder won. Next on the schedule was Munich where we ran in Perlacher Forest in a steady rain. Munich outran us 21- 39. Munich was our last scheduled meet, but we traveled to Ansbach for an unscheduled meet before the Regionals. Running through the mud with a steady rain, we came in behind Bonn and Ansbach in a three-way meet 25-35-73. The season finished with the Regional Meet for Class B schools in Germany held on the Heidelberg course at the Heidelberg Golf Course. Despite injuries that kept two of our top five from finishing, we finished in 7th place ahead of Berlin. The Women's Team gave a good ac- count of itself, especially at the Regionals where we got a 7th and a 31st place.
