Spring Sports-Tennis The 1975 Wiirzburg Tennis Team fpic- tured at LEFTJ was made up of Tim Shea, Marty Price, Kelly Hanley, Karen Hayes, Karin Kim, Mark Nave, Mike Richardson, Pete Mines, Wendy Bryce, Connie Christy, and janet Farquharson. ..Coach Roy Scherer's team was in- volved in matches with Baumholder, Berlin, Karlsruhe, Munich and other USDESEA schools and hosted the USDESEA finals. 162 Spring Sports-Soccer l The Varsity Soccer Team, right, was made up of: ROW 1. Tom Tabaczynski, Al Worcester, Mob Montalto, Walt Sellars, Dennis Duriex, Bill Furr, Richard Price. ROW 2. Coach Begg, Claude Spiese, Frank Myers, joe Putz, Scott Cummings, Russ Christy, Richie Bocker, Mark Hanley, and Managers Nancy Meyer and Doris Sweat. The Varsity team posted a 3-4 season, defeating Niirnberg and Baumholder Ctwicel and losing to Karlsruhe and Berlin ltwice eachl. Tony D'Alessio, Paul Moora- dian, Dave Closser, Tim Long, BJ. Seay, Bill Cooper, Dave Bell. ROW 2. Coach Sellers, Klaus Herring, Bill McConnell, Stephan john, Ted Thies, Robbie Black, Dave Farquharson, Pat Upton, and Managers Nancy Meyer and Doris Sweat. The jV's had a season record of 4-2-1 with wins against Ntirnberg, Baumholder, Berlin and Karlsruhe and losses to Berlin and Karlsruhe. The first Baumholder game ended in a 1-1 tie.

164 Ck The 1975 Wiirzburg Track Team fat LEFTJ was composed of Sabina john, Tony Bauer, Ron Roberts, Andy Bland, jim Garcia, Allen Mauney, Dave Edwards, Tony Redman, Greg Holditch, and Duane Fuller. Although the season record could have been better, Wiirz- burg came in second in team standings in a quadrangular meet with Berlin, Bad Kreuznach and Bremerhaven. Coach Szczpanik's squad also managed some third place team finishes during the season. As one team member said, We were small but we did the best we could. Duane Fuller led the team with several wins in the discus and shot put. His longest discus throw was the best in Europe for the season. iw 3 aw 4, if. far an Wm.
