Pass in Review - Out With the Old, In With the New As each new school year, has many new faces That seem to be brought here, from various places, Let's take time together, to try to remember The things that went on, june-back to September. On top of the list, seems to be graduation. Each now more able to cope with inflation. And recently, too, we attended the Prom. What a great dance, no threat of a bomb. Had other fine dances, from Student Council to us: Homecoming, the Formal fincluding a late bush. With Drama presenting Barefoot in the Park, And the Christmas Cantata, as mellow as a lark! Vocational offerings like C. W. E. Cosmo, the shops, what more could there be? All persons involved, especially the teens Who sat and who rapped, and mostly in jeans. Boots, too, were a part of everyday wear As mud to the shacks was so hard to bear. But that never stopped one who wanted a Coke! Cause the money the stand made was certainly no joke. And paths to the outbuildings were really a feat, Especially to stay there without any heat. Too, there were those who in athletics letter And from the Club order, a jacket or sweater. Those athletes were spurred by some secret feeders And certainly by those dandy cheerleaders. Our teams all did well. They took things in stride. Two championships won by their Great Purple Pride! And, too, Desiderata, as it reviews the year Has nothing to hide, has nothing to fear. Cause we look to the future, especially new school tWouldn't it be great to include a nice pool?I But too much we can't ask, too greedy we can't get Thankful to be for what we have yet! Thus farewell to all, both students and teachers We'll meet again soon, perhaps in the Bleachers. Or maybe in your town, still maybe in mine To chat with each other. It sure would be fine! So no matter the time, nor egal, wo Sie hingehen, Wiel gluck zu alles, und Aufweidersehen ! -Coach Kent B. Smith Space compliments of the SENIOR HIGH STUDENT COUNCIL Robbie Black, President Mr. Renner and Ms. Huhn, Advisors 147
