Jioarcf of I cfucation The School Board is not seen by our pupils in every- day school life, yet the school could not function without it. With the welfare of the school and of the student body in mind, the Board does all the long-range planning for new school buildings, new and better teachers, better facilities, and a cur- riculum to meet the needs of the times. The Board meets on the last Friday of each month. Working without pay, they devote many hours of their time to enable our communities to have a bet- ter, and more efficient school system. The meet- ings are open to the public. Being elected to their offices by districts, they serve a term of four years. CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD Wayne Traylor

PRINCIPAL BEN WEBB Mr. Webb received his B.S. and M. Ed. Degrees from Ohio University. This is the second year that he has served as principal of the Wurtland High School. n ameer SUPERINTENDENT ROSCOE STEPHENS Mr. Stephens received an A. B. Degree from Morehead State College and an M.A. Degree from the University of Kentucky. He has served as superin- tendent of the Greenup County Schools for the past ten years.
