C. girls won 9 games and lost 10 was not so successful as in other years, but nevertheless it provided its share of thrills. The girls entered three tournaments, Silex, Bellflower, and Wentzvllle, and succeeded in capturing the lst place trophy at the Silex Tourney. Judy Cafer was named most valuable player of the tourney in the girls division, and at the Bellflower Tourna- ment, in which the girls failed to place, Judy was picked to the All-Star team. Two forwards and two guards will be lost via graduation but the two remaining members of the lst team along with other capable' girls will strive to form a nucleus for another successful team next season.
