B. Worthy. The first teacher is very skillful and intelligent. All the students she works with find her teaching exciting and fun. She has done a tremendous job as English teacher, guidance counselor, and director of numerous plays and assemblies, The second teacher is one of the favorites of all. He’s the kind of teacher who has a kind word or a hello” to everyone. He has also done an excellent job as teacher and coach of the Shakers. We salute you: Mr. and Mrs. Ted Maiden 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 A day rushes by 1 1 full of life Saltshaker Staff Upper left: OFFICERS - Terri Mitchell, Editor; Ann Snow, Asst. Every effort has been made to cover thoroughly everything from sports events, class and club news to song dedications and advice to the lovelorn. Each member of the staff contributed his own individuality and talent to make this year ' s Salt- shaker one of the best ever. Annual Staff For members of the Annual Staff, work began in the Spring as the staff organized. Giving up summer days was also a part of being on the staff as members walked in either the hot sun or the rain and mud to sell ads. Starting in early fall and continuing through winter, it was a chain of doing lay- outs, doing copy, and taking pictures until the last deadline was met on time. A choral group consisting of twenty- three members joined together in forming our Chorus. Under the direction of their skilled teacher, Elwood Porshia, they sang on various occasions, such as Christmas and Easter. Selections from different periods of history were sung to acquaint the students with many musical eras. Mr. Elwood Porshia, DIRECTOR Mr. Porshia with the choral group. 14 ; 15 16 FACULTY 5 2 1.
