JU IOR TRI-H1-Y y ri Mrs. Surber Jo Anne Horne Advisor President A Christmas Party for the underprivileged children of our community was a main project of the Senior Tri-Hi-Y. It was carried out with the help of Junior Tri-Hi-Y and the Hi-Y. The Junior Tri-l-li-Y originated the observation of Teacher Appreciation Day in our school. In the Hi-Y's first year of organization at R. B. Worthy High School, it has accomplished much to- ward reaching its goals.

The Latin Club has chosen for its motto the famous words of the great Roman, Julius Caesar: Veni, vidi, vici C'I came, I saw, I conquered J. By promoting interest in the study of Latin, the members hope to increase appreciation of Roman culture and its influence on the world, and also to gain clearer understanding of the nature of English language and literature.
