Modem- istic paneling and lighting make the entrance mighty attractive, Floor of the Month linoleum covers the old floor bulges and rolls and eliminates that drunken sailor feeling as you walk down the hall. Way back when high button shoes and fancy toupees were in style, Worthington High School was born. It was a mighty little school, occupying only two rooms in the grade building, but possessing a piano, water works and electricity. As the years Went by, our school grew and grew. Students increased in number, scholastic standards improved, and in 1909 the present building was con- structed. But the growing pains didn't stop then. Ad- ditional wings to right and left granted more space. In 1931 the auditorium and gymnasium were added. Rejuvenation and face lifting has helped erase the marks of time, but the increased school population has the building practically bursting at the seams. If our enrollment continues to increase, the school fathers will have to get their heads together to devise a scheme whereby more space may be acquired - or else provide sky hooks for the unwary student who can't run fast enough to get to class before all the seats are taken. 4 B GRAGKY, LU KE JWWA A L ,, ' ,ig , , tw L
