The Worthington High School team began its season WITH a gym meet at New Ulm competing against Fairmont and New Ulm The team made a good show mg but placed second to Fairmont R venge was in the heart of every gym man for it was the first time Fairmont had defeated them And revenge they gal' The second meet was held in Worthing ton with New Ulm and Fairmont again present This time Worthington placed first and Fairmont second The last small meet of the year was at Fairmont where Worthington again placed first and Fairmont second The last and largest meet of the year was the state meet at the University of Minnesota In which Worthington placed third beaten only by Roosevelt and North High Schools of Minneapolis K Pictured an the horse is Warren Gordon while the rest of the gym team looks on.
